We were commissioned by curator Han Decorte to reconstruct a gilt leather design for the exhibition 'KIJK' at NEST Stadslab Damme (B). This 18th century piece is part of the heritage collection of the Old Sint-Janshospitaal, caring community dating back to the 13th century and active untill 2014.

Atelier Billiet reconstructed the missing parts of the repeat and reproduced the design as a wallpaper to adorn the ceiling of the 'Wunderkamer' in the center of the exhibition.
Since the design was so intriguing we decided to produce a limited edition for reselling.
