Consultancy

I conduct preliminary investigations on historical wallpaper or textiles found during a restoration project. This results in independant reports that register the finds and offers valuable information on dates and the decorative schemes selected by the previous owners.

These well documented, written reports also contain advise on the possibilities of restoration, conservation or reconstruction and can help architects, heritage organisations or private owners to well-considered choices in difficult projects. Contact me for more info!

If desired, I continue with the reconstruction of the wallpapers and textiles, for which restoration subsidies are often available. Regular meetings between client/architect and myself result in a successful conclusion of these projects.

Studio Research

Since I have a broad field of expertise my R&D studio is equipped to experiment with various techniques:

Silk screen printing, metal foil application, water gilding, lamination, painting, large format latex printing, stamping, etc. …
Manual work is also an option and I’m keen on taking up new skills.

I work in co-creation with different partners for both production and material sourcing. This offers a unique palette and thorough knowledge of technical possibilities.

For your convenience, I follow up the complete trail from first sketch to finished product and installation.
