Passing on Mastery

Pleased to announce that the application in the context of passing on mastery, submitted by my studio Atelier Billiet together with 3 apprentices, has been approved and granted a subsidy from the Flemish Government.
It concerns the mastership to design repeating patterns by hand and the craft of coloring the drawings with gouache.
So no computer involved! For many quite a challenge these days.
The project starts February '22 and runs until December '22, closing with an exhibition in my studio in Bruges.
